Have changed the title of my post a bit.... Apologies for this last minute editing..
Looking forward to reading all the posts for this week.
Being somewhat new to all of these virtual worlds and wonderful technology devices, I find them all quite fantastic. Things that I once thought to be impossible became reality in a Second Life class I had this summer. The class was able to dress up as firefighters and control a chemical waste spill. The training advantages in these virtual worlds are endless. Residents or new surgeons would be able to conduct a surgery in “world” were wrinkles can be ironed out or mistakes can be corrected. If the class is offered again I recommend everyone to take it.
